Qualification Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in a variety of dance teaching contexts, including private dance studios. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

Packaging Rules
Total number of units = 14
8 core units plus
6 elective units , of which:
- a minimum of 3 units must be from Group A
- of the remaining units:
- up to 3 units may be from Group A and/or Group B
- up to 2 units may be from an accredited course or any currently endorsed Training Package qualification at Certificate IV level
- up to 1 unit may be from an accredited course or any currently endorsed Training Package qualification at Certificate III or Diploma level.
The elective units chosen must be relevant to the work outcome and meet local industry needs.
