Qualification Description
This qualification describes the skills and knowledge for a range of skilled jobs in permaculture, including permaculture project supervisors and designers who may be involved in supervising individuals and teams of people on urban and rural work sites and community projects.
In these roles they plan, design and work within integrated living systems. They require a wide range of knowledge about permaculture’s multi-disciplinary systems based approach and how to work with natures' processes and ecology to provide for our needs,
No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
Packaging Rules
To achieve this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in:
- 12 units of competency:
- 5 core units plus
- 7 elective units.
Elective units must ensure the integrity of the qualification’s Australian Qualification Framework (AQF) alignment and contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome. The electives are to be chosen as follows:
- at least 1 unit must be selected from the electives in Group A
- up to 4 units from the electives in Group A or B
- remaining 2 units from electives in Group B or C or from this or any other endorsed Training Package or accredited course.
