Infection Control HLTINF006 and HLTINF007 units to be delivered from 1 July 2023

The packaging rules for 28 qualifications and two skill sets (listed below) have now been updated. This will mean that from 1 July 2023, RTOs can only deliver HLTINF006 - Apply basic principles and practices of infection prevention and control or HLTINF007 - Implement and monitor infection prevention and control standards, policies and procedures. Superseded qualifications remain unchanged.

More information on the two units of competency can be found in February’s Training.gov.au newsletter which advised that from 1 March 2023 to 30 June 2023 RTOs had the option to deliver either the superseded unit or the new unit.
